ICAR-CIFE, Mumbai participated in the Versova Festival held at Swami Samarth Nagar, MHADA Grounds, Mumbai on 26^th December 2016.

Chief Guest of the function was Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis. The function was graced by Hon’ble Minister Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries, Maharashtra, Shri Mahadev Jankar and Hon’ble Dr. Bharti Lavekar, MLA, Versova, Mumbai.

He explained the different schemes undertaken by the Government. He assured that the concerns of fishermen and women will be given priority while implementation of the schemes. The scientists and staff of ICAR-CIFE explained the activities of CIFE to the Hon’ble dignitaries.

Hon’ble Minister Animal husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries, and other dignitaries visited the CIFE stall and had interaction with Dr. S.N. Ojha, Dr. Arpita Sharma and Mr. Sikander who explained the research and extension activities of CIFE, Mumbai and its centres.
